At MIDO 2015, Hung Kai proudly returned to Milan’s iconic eyewear fair with a dynamic and forward-looking presence. Held from February 28 to March 2 at Fieramilano, the 45th edition welcomed over 49,000 attendees from 157 countries, reaffirming its status as the world’s leading optical trade event.
This year, Hung Kai showcased an expanded portfolio of clamshell eyeglass cases and custom packaging solutions, emphasizing sustainable materials, refined textures, and tailored branding for premium eyewear clients. Our booth reflected a blend of Hong Kong–rooted craftsmanship and Dongguan-based production excellence, drawing strong interest from global distributors and design-conscious brands.
MIDO 2015 also introduced exciting new features like the Lab Academy — a curated space for emerging designers — and the BeStore Awards, celebrating innovation in optical retail. These initiatives aligned perfectly with Hung Kai’s mission to support creativity, quality, and global collaboration.
The event marked another milestone in our international journey, strengthening relationships and opening new doors across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
