Hong Kong Optical Fair 2017

At the 2017 Hong Kong Optical Fair, Hung Kai proudly celebrated the fair’s 25th anniversary with a standout presence at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Held from November 8–10, the event welcomed over 16,000 buyers from 106 countries and regions, marking a 7% increase from the previous year — a testament to the fair’s growing global influence.

Our booth showcased an evolved collection of clamshell eyeglass cases and custom packaging solutions, crafted with eco-conscious materials, refined textures, and tailored branding for premium eyewear clients. We engaged with both long-standing partners and new buyers from emerging markets such as India, Indonesia, and Thailand, as well as mature markets like France, the UK, and Canada.

The 2017 edition featured a vibrant Brand Name Gallery with 225 top international brands, alongside seminars exploring trends like e-tailing, smart eyewear, and neuro vision rehabilitation — themes that aligned closely with Hung Kai’s forward-thinking approach. Our participation reaffirmed our role as a trusted, ISO-certified manufacturer and celebrated our Hong Kong heritage with pride.
