MIDO 2024

At MIDO 2024, Hung Kai proudly returned to Milan’s iconic eyewear fair with a bold and future-forward presence. Held from February 3–5 at Fieramilano Rho, the 52nd edition welcomed over 1,200 exhibitors from 50 countries and approximately 40,000 industry professionals from 160 nations — a remarkable 25% increase in exhibitors and 11% rise in attendance compared to the previous year.

Hung Kai’s booth showcased our latest line of clamshell eyeglass cases and custom packaging solutions, crafted with eco-conscious materials, refined textures, and tailored branding for premium eyewear clients. We embraced the spirit of innovation reflected in MIDO’s expanded zones, including the Kaleidoscope installation in Hall 3, the MORE! Pavilion, and the FAiR East area, which spotlighted Asian excellence in design and manufacturing2.

This year’s highlights included the MIDO MIDday Talks, featuring thought leaders from design, fashion, and gastronomy, and the Certified Sustainable Eyewear (CSE) Awards, which recognized sustainability in frames, sunglasses, and packaging — values that align closely with Hung Kai’s mission. The event also saw a surge in digital engagement, with over 2 million impressions and a 50% increase in social media reach.
